Astronauts

1. Astronauts was an experimental indie rock band from the Hudson Valley of NY. Astronauts consisted of 4 friends and the desire to create. 2 CDs and a demo were recorded ('Wizards', 'Avanti', and 'Deep Vermont') under the original line up consisting of Chris Bigley, Corey Burleigh, Simon Hegarty, and Steven Markota. Under the stress of juggling school and touring, Corey and Chris parted ways with Astronauts.

Death Valley Surfers

Death Valley Surfers are what you can call “Crazy Rock'n'Roll”. DVS are sworn to fun & are dedicated to having a party on stage. In 1998 Russ Surfer, the former drummer of The Highliners decided start a new band. Using the influence of Surfin’ & 60’s Hot Rod music, he began by blending this to Psychobilly. The band has evolved its own unique sound, with the jump about Rhythm of Bo-Diddley on speed. DVS continued the stage chaos of the likes of The Highliners & King Kurt.

Emptifish

Emptifish 1983 - 1987 - By Nick Beat. I'd heard about 'Emptifish' while running an illegal drinking den 'The Trash Cavern Nightclub' in Waverly Road, Southsea. These guys were somehow too hot for the regular concertgoer and I decided to keep a distance from the craziness of their antics. As time progressed the band built up such a strong following including many young and attractive girls, 700-800 turning up at venues that held only 200-300 that eventually they became the talk of the South Coast with their musical hybrid of surf/punk and early "Beatles"...
