Werewolves

There are multiple bands called werewolves.
(1) A thrash band from Baltimore, Maryland. They pull from a variety of influences including 60's psychedelic rock, krautrock, and well as shoegaze and drone music.

Al Lover

In short, Al Lover is a producer from San Francisco, but there's more layers to his wall of sound then meets the ear. Over the last few years he has gained much notoriety for his melding of contemporary and past garage and psychedelic rock into harsh yet spacey abrasive beats. Equal Parts 13th Floor Elevators and DJ Shadow, Al Combines crunchy drums, shaky percussion, chopped samples and layers of textured effects to create an unexplored path for psychedelic music.

Poisoned Electrick Head

British Psychedelic Indie Rock band, formed in 1986 in St. Helens, Merseyside. Whilst active, the group was particularly distinctive; onstage, bandmembers would dress in black boiler-suits and wear "death masks", whilst album sleeves were adorned with H.R. Giger-esque artwork courtesy of bandmember ZaPeep. Both were abandoned circa 1997 as it was believed that these elements provided a barrier between the band and better things. They split up in 1998. ------ 1) Shag is a young hip-hop producer from Ft. Worth, Texas. His production is mainly sample-based, though he has been known to make sample-free music as well. As of May, 2012, he has released 19 beat tapes. His newest release, Revolution, was released through Cult Classic Records on May 20. (2) Shag was the alias Jonathan King adopted for the 1972 novelty single "Loop Di Love".

Agincourt

The British trio of Agincourt made one rare, privately pressed LP in 1970, Fly Away. It's nice second-tier British folk-rock, and though the adjective "haunting" is overused in description of this genre in general, songwriters Peter Howell and John Fernando really had that aspect down, with a greater pop savvy than most people working in the U.K. folk-rock field. Woman singer Lee Menelaus rounded out the trio, which smoothly integrated both male and female lead and background vocals.

Iron Butterfly

Iron Butterfly is an American psychedelic band, well known for their 1968 hit "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida". They are considered a very-early heavy metal band as a result of this song and others like it, as well as the title of their debut album, Heavy. Their heyday was the late 1960s, but the band has been reincarnated several times with various members. VH1 ranks them as number 19 on their list of top 100 "one-hit" wonders.
