Naked Raygun

Naked Raygun was a very influential Chicago-based punk band of the 1980s and early 1990s. All incarnations featured Jeff Pezzati on vocals. Members over time include Jim Colao and Eric Spicer on drums, Pierre Kezdy and Camilio Gonzalez on bass, and Santiago Durango. John Haggerty, and Bill Stephans on guitar. Naked Raygun began as a noisy, free-form artist, often trading members with Big Black but later sharpened into a hard pop outfit in a league with the Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Jam.

Malcolm Gladwell (born September 1, 1963) is a United Kingdom-born, Canadian-raised journalist now based in New York City who has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1996. He is known as the author of the books The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference (2000) and Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking (2005). His writing often deals with the unexpected implications of research in the social sciences, particularly sociology and psychology. Bodyjar

Bodyjar was an Australian punk rock band based in Melbourne, that formed in 1994, when they changed their name from 'Helium'. Their song "Not The Same" was also featured in the video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Bodyjar have released 7 albums, 6 of which were recorded in studio and their latest which is a live recording entitled 'Is It Alive'. The band contained two of its original members, Cameron Baines (lead vocals/guitar) and Grant Relf (Bass) when they split.

ASG is a small band with a sound that’s big in so many ways. The trio formed following the break-up of local Wrigthsville Beach punk band the Urethra Franklins when Andy Ellis (bass) and Scott Key (drums) teamed up with guitarist Jason Shi. Together they created a perfect fusion of punk and metal. “If we had to classify it… we’d just say we play loud..” raves guitarist Jason Shi commenting on their punk, metal and classic rock n’ roll sound. “We’re definitely not emo”. And all who have seen them live would surely agree to that.

DYS

There is one band called DYS and one band called Dys. Last.Fm mixes them up: 1.) Formed at ground zero of Boston's legendary straight edge hardcore scene, DYS, stood for "Department of Youth Services" but they jokingly told everyone it stood for "Dave You Suck".
They rose out of SS Decontrol's Boston Crew, going on to help establish the city as a center of the movement along with Negative FX and Last Rights.

XXXchange

XXXchange/Armani XXXchange/AleXXXchange is Alex Epton, member of Spank Rock and sought-after producer (produced The Kills' Midnight Boom (2008)), remixer, DJ and artist in his own right. Alex Epton has also recorded tracks for the computer game, "Skate", made by EA.

Disaster Area

Disaster Area were a skate punk band from Berlin, Germany. Disaster Area is also an up-and-coming power metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Disaster Area are a glam rock/metal band from Scotland, featuring members of Common Gods and Whyte Tiger. Likely named for the "plutonium rock" band of the same name in Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, which was described as "not only the loudest rock band in the Universe, but in fact the loudest noise of any kind at all".

Swingin' Utters

Swingin' Utters is an American punk rock band that formed in the late 1980s. Having begun in Santa Cruz, California, the band moved to San Francisco where they are now based. They have been signed to Fat Wreck Chords since 1996. As well as being classed as a "punk revival" band (reminiscent of British 1970s bands such as Stiff Little Fingers, The Damned, Sham 69 and Eddie & The Hot Rods), Swingin' Utters have increasingly shown themselves to be influenced by Irish folk, particularly The Pogues.
