Ólöf Arnalds

Ólöf Arnalds was born in 1980. In 2006 she graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts with a B.A. degree in composition and new media. She's múm's collaborator for the past years, and has also played with many other Icelandic bands and musicians, such as Slowblow or Stórsveit Nix Noltes. One of Ólöf´s most recent collaborations was her part on Skúli Sverrisson's critically acclaimed album Sería where she plays guitar, charanga, viola and sings her own lyrics. Ólöf´s debut solo album Við Og Við was released in 2007 on 12 Tónar. Produced by Sigur Rós' Kjartan Sveinsson.

She is known for including elements of rock, jazz, electronic, classical, industrial, folk and trip-hop music in her work. Her voice has also been acclaimed for its distinctive qualities. She is also known for her eccentric costumes and music videos. Her singles "It's Oh So Quiet", "Army Of Me" and "Hyperballad" all charted in the UK Top 10.

Sykur

As the leaves started to grow back on the trees and the honey birds rose up from the dead, the band Sykur was formed by Stefán Finnbogason and Halldór Eldjárn. They had been making music together for three years, mainly jazz fusion and hip hop, and decided to do something new. Something fresh. After a busy summer of writing songs and playing at various venues, a third member, Kristján Eldjárn, joined the band.

Hailing from Iceland FaMR comprises of four 20-year-olds. Their music is best described as energetic, melodious post-rock, though being the natural creative visionaries they are, the band expand and even subvert their style with almost every song. FM Belfast is an electronic band from Reykjavík, Iceland. The band formed in late 2005 as a duo with Árni Rúnar Hlöðversson (Plúseinn) and Lóa Hlín Hjálmtýsdóttir. The band was a studio project for some time until the Iceland Airwaves festival 2006 when the band expanded into a full on live act.
