Wet Paint are a new band formed by Absentee guitarist Babak Ganjei. The group provide an outlet for Babak's love of playing loud and fast, usually whilst screaming something vaguely literate over the top. Debut album - 'It Rots' - is being released January 14th. Wet Paint comprise of Babak Ganjei (Guitar & Vox), Laurie Earle (Guitar), James Wignall (Bass) and Melinda Bronstein (Drums).
Dan Michaelson is lead singer of the critically acclaimed and suprisingly popular band Absentee. In September 2007 whilst waiting to record the next Absentee album (now being recorded in their East London home from home, The Premises) he decided to start work on a solo album. After several embarassing phone calls and the odd spelling mistake, renowned Icelandic producer Valgier Sigurdsson (Björk, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Sigur Ròs) came over to stay in London and produce the tracks Michaelson had written.
