The Astronauts

Four bands use the name "The Astronauts": 1) Surf band from Colorado in the early 1960's. Their appeal was primarily regional, but their 1963 single "Baja" drew national attention and reached #94 on the Billboard pop charts.

2) A nostalgic surf rock band from Bielefeld, Germany. Their style is instrumental space-surf rock n' roll. The liner notes from their 10" EP "Lost in Space", released in 1993 by Pin Up Records, shed some light on their retro aesthetic: "Do you play your Pin Up Monaural long-play recordings on a Mono phonograph? Please do.

Mutiny

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Mutiny is a band formed by Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey after he left Funkadelic when George Clinton's mothership splintered at the end of the 1970s.Jerome Brailey and Glen Goins were working on the concept of Mutiny when Glen's untimely death occured in 1978. Jerome Brailey continue on with the vision and formed the group Mutiny, which performed in a style which is similar to the classic P-Funk style with a lot of emphasis place on the dual lead guitar work.

Patrik Fitzgerald

Patrik Fitzgerald (born as Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald in Stratford, London, March 19, 1956) is a singer/songwriter. The son of working-class Irish immigrant parents, he began recording and performing during the punk rock movement in 1977, after working briefly as an actor. Early recordings
His early songs were generally short, sarcastic efforts, recorded with just an acoustic guitar and occasional studio effects, with lyrics containing a large amount of social comment.

Attila the Stockbroker's Barnstormer

Attila the Stockbroker's Barnstormer is the band formed by Sussex poet and songwriter Attila the Stockbroker in 1994, as an additional project alongside Attila's continuing solo career as a performance poet and musician, which began in 1980 and is his main activity to this day. The band have done about 400 gigs since then, mainly in the UK, Germany, Holland, Austria and Switzerland, and released 3 albums: 'The Siege of Shoreham' (1996) 'Just One Life' (2000) and 'Zero Tolerance' (2004) Loads of tracks have also featured on compilation albums...

Surfin' Turnips

The Surfin' Turnips are a West Country renaissance folk-punk group who aim to spread the Word Of The West to the lost souls in need of apple salvation. Specialising in scrumpy, sea songs and West Country pride songs, they have released three West Country LPs. The Surfin' Turnips were originally just yer run-of-the-mill underground band who, after releasing a few unremarkable albums on a Japanese label, rested fer a couple of years. During this time Titch spent a couple of weeks up on Dartymoor in his tent fasting and listening to the voice of apple righteousness.
