Little Caesar
One of the best hard rock bands ever. Nobody quite knew what to think of longhaired, tattooed bikers singing such soulful, yet ballsy, rock music. While their image may have been at odds with their music, it definitely suited the live show.
Formed in Los Angeles, California by Ron Young (the vocalist whose back is completely covered by a jungle scene tattoo), Apache (guitar), Louren Molinare (guitar), Fidel Paniagua (bass) and Tom Morris (drums). They first appeared on Metal Blade's Street Survivors compilation before releasing a four song EP called Name Your Poison.
Heaven's Edge
Heavens Edge was a highly melodic rock band that flirted with AOR. They played a similar style to that of Harem Scarem but came upon the metal scene too late to make many waves.
Mark Evans (vocals), Reggie Wu (guitar/keyboards), Steven Parry (guitar), George "G.G." Guidotti (bass) and David Rath (drums) got together in Philadelphia, PA to form Heavens Edge. With an uncanny ability of fusing hard rock riffs with huge melodies, it wasn't long before their demo tape attracted Columbia records and resulted in a recording contract.
Wolf & Cub
Wolf & Cub are an alternative rock band from Adelaide, Australia that formed in 2002. Three of the original members hail from Port Augusta, South Australia. Their music is predominantly psychedelic with elements of funk. The four-piece are signed to legendary record label 4AD. An interesting aspect of the band's music and aesthetic is their use of two drummers. This allows the percussive elements of their music to feature more prominently alongside the guitar.
Headrush
There are three bands under this name :
1) Headrush is a hard rock / heavy metal band HEADRUSH - The Story So Far Members: Andy Law (Lead Vocals); Dave Leese (Lead & Rhythm guitars); Chris Khosa (Lead & Rhythm); Tom Shaw (Bass Guitar); Bob Myatt (Drums & Percussion) Background: Headrush are in negotiations over a Publishing Deal with ‘The New Black Corporation’ which is headed by the A&R man who signed ‘The Hives’ ‘HIM’ ‘Beth Orton’ ‘Death in Vegas’ and even ‘Kylie Minogue’ as well as working with such industry giants as the legendary ‘Clive Davis’.
Shotgun Revolution
“SOMETHING IS ROTTEN IN THE STATE OF DENMARK...” The famous quote by William Shakespeare should however read ”Something Is Rockin’ In The State Of Denmark. The Danish band Shotgun Revolution is like a musical bon-fire. Comin’ straight out of Copenhagen with a distinct sound inspired by classic bands like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC & Guns N Roses, but with a twist. Put together by lead guitarist, writer and producer Martin Frank, whose vision was to create a band able to raise the bar of Danish rock music worldwide.
L.A. Guns
L.A. Guns is a sleaze metal band that has had a "revolving door" policy, as the band has experienced numerous line up changes throughout its storied career. They are notable for being one of the few bands associated with the glam metal movement to have consistently released new material despite their style of music falling out of favor with the rise of grunge in the early 90's. L.A. Guns was formed in the early 80's with Michael Jagosz on lead vocals, Tracii Guns on lead guitar, Ole Beich on bass, and Rob Gardner on drums.
