At The Skylines

At The Skylines was formed in 2009 and play a melodic not your usual post-hardcore. They're all based in Southern California around Huntington Beach. They produced a self titled EP in 2009 with producer Kris Comeaux. They're a six-piece band who write from their souls. They recently got signed to Roadrunner Records and their debut album will be named "The Secrets To Life" and its set to release May 8.

Candi Staton

Candi Staton (born Canzetta Maria Staton on March 13, 1940, in Hanceville, Alabama) is an American gospel singer. She is best known for her disco hit Young Hearts Run Free and dance hit You Got the Love. Staton sang with the Jewell Gospel Trio as a teenager before launching a solo career in 1968. She had 16 R&B hits for Fame Studios and received Grammy nominations for cover versions of country standards. In 1975 she started working with disco producer Dave Crawford and had hits "Young Hearts Run Free" and "Victim".

2 Unlimited

2 Unlimited was a group from Amsterdam, Netherlands formed in 1991. The project was the brainchild of the Belgian production duo Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde, who wrote and recorded the backing tracks. Their songs' vocals were performed by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth, who also wrote the lyrics. The two original members now record as Ray & Anita. Their first hit, Get Ready For This, was released in 1991 and took the European charts by storm, first as an instrumental version, then as a rap version.

Fat Digester are a music based collective that at times include dancers, rappers and visual artists. They fuse fun and social comment in a blend of Jazz, Funk, and Hip Hop. Fat Digester have recently won the Budweiser Budvar Brewed Jazz, best UK pub jazz act, playing at the 2008 Cheltenham Jazz Festival in the UK. The winning track was Sweet Sweet, available to listen to on this site.

Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald (born February 12, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American R&B/soul singer (sometimes described as a "blue-eyed soul" singer), known for his trademark husky baritone voice. McDonald played in several local bands (such as Mike and the Majestics, Jerry Jay and the Sheratons, the Reebtoors, and The Guild) while attending McCluer High School in his hometown of Ferguson, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

Martha and The Vandellas

Martha and the Vandellas were one of the most successful groups in the Motown roster during the 1960s and fully active from 1960 to 1972, performing at various times doo-wop, pop, rock and roll and soul. The label's second most-successful all-female singing group after The Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas were known for a churchier, more southern-styled soul than the Supremes, as typified in Motown hits such as "(Love Is Like A) Heat Wave", "Jimmy Mack", "I'm Ready For Love", "My Baby Loves Me", "Nowhere to Run", and, their signature song, "Dancing in the Street".
