Hiatus Kaiyote

Hiatus Kaiyote are a 4-piece independent future soul group based in Melbourne, performing on occasion with 3 additional backing singers. Their sound is a fusion of future beats, hip-hop and soul with subtler influences of Latin, dubstep and opera. Since forming in mid 2011, Hiatus Kaiyote have already shared the bill with such acts as Stones Throw Record

Four Tops

Four Tops are an American Motown musical quartet, whose repertoire has included doo-wop, jazz, soul music, rnb, disco, adult contemporary, showtunes, and even psychedelic rock. Founded in Detroit, Michigan as The Four Aims, lead singer Levi Stubbs and group mates Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton remained together for over four decades, finally forced to endure a lineup change when Payton died in 1997. At that time, Theo Peoples was added to the lineup; Peoples later replaced Stubbs, who fell ill from cancer, and Ronnie McNeir assumed Peoples' spot.

Playa is an American R&B trio. Comprised of members Steve "Static" Garrett, Smokey, and Black, Playa is best known for their 1997 hit single, "Cheers 2 U", produced by longtime collaborator Timbaland. Static is notable for being a successful songwriter of hit singles and album tracks for artists such as Ginuwine, Aaliyah, Truth Hurts, and Brandy.

Hijak Oscar

Hijak Oscar started in York, August 2005. After a few months they put on their first show in a local 100 capacity venue which sold out 2 weeks before the event. Not wanting to lose the York fan base they had built from the early shows by playing too much in their home town, they began to play in Leeds supporting local acts and then returning to the same venues to headline shows after getting rave reviews from people who had seen them.

There are three Jason Walkers. 1. Jason Walker is a male vocalist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania known for his soulful diva-like vocals. Gil Scott-Heron

Gil Scott-Heron (born April 1, 1949 in Chicago) is an American poet and musician, known primarily for his late 1960s and early 1970s work as a spoken word performer, associated with African American militant activists. Heron is perhaps most well known for his poems/songs "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" and "What's the Word - Johannesburg" a movement hit during the 1980's South Africa college and national divestment movement in the United States of America.
