Foxface

Foxface, from Glasgow, Scotland, were concieved by Michael Angus. Initially he played alone, though was joined by friends along the way. The release of the handmade 'Foxface EP' (featuring Andrew Smith of Laeto) in 2003 was the last release without a permanent line-up; by early 2004 Foxface was a three-piece made-up of Micheal, John (Who played with Michael Angus in Peeps Into Fairyland), and new addition Jenny. They have played with Sons & Daughters, King Creosote, Electric Magnolia Company, My Latest Novel and Idlewild, with whom they share a friendship both personal and professional.

Carol Thompson

Born in America of Anglo-Welsh-Irish-Austrian heritage, Carol Thompson is one of America's foremost players of the Celtic harp, began playing the pedal harp at age thirteen with classical instruction from Dorothy Knauss of Allentown, PA, a student of Alfred Holy. After years of playing classical music, she allowed her lifelong interest in medieval and renaissance history to take to the fore, and learned to play several variants of her instrument.

Dan Reed

Dan Reed is the name of numerous musicians. (1) Dan Reed (1938-1986) was a native of Colorado, active in music, acting, and politics. His socialist political views caused him trouble in many countries, including the US, but he was popular within the Soviet Bloc, and earned the nickname "The Red Elvis." (2) Dan Reed (1963-) is a native of Oregon who gained some regional popularity with his 80s pop band Dan Reed Network, formed in 1984.

Richard Swift

Singer/songwriter Richard Swift's lo-fi, sepiatone style harkens back to the tin pan alley era. Born in 1977, the California native spent his youth locked in his room with a four-track recorder, a device that, along with a computer, he continues to utilize to this day. Influenced by everyone from Bob Dylan to early seventies dub acts like the Congos and Lee Perry, he has provided keyboards for shoegazeers Starflyer 59 and released two records of his own, Walking Without Effort and the Novelist, both of which were reissued on Secretly Canadian as a double album in 2005.

Freya Hanly

Traversing a sea of folky-jazz melodies, country ballads, humorous love songs and deeply poetic, classically influenced pieces is Freya Hanly. Freya has established herself in the Australian independent music community as a seasoned performer., having extensively toured WA and the East coast as well as being a regular at some top Australian festivals. Freya has supported and performed alongside such artists as The Indigo Girls, Deborah Conway, Lior, Sarah Storer, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Whitlams, Clare Bowditch, Blue King Brown and Brandi Carlile.
