Any Trouble are a British rock band, originating from Crewe, England, best known for the early 1980s recordings. The band reformed in 2007. Any Trouble was an underappreciated bright spot on Stiff Records, a label which had no shortage of talented artists. Bandleader Clive Gregson's appearance, hardened love songs, and vocal style may have led to comparisons to Elvis Costello, but they were no second-rate rip-off -- each of their four albums revealed a songwriter of unique talent and a more-than-capable band to execute the songs.
Graduating from high school early is nothing for a band when you have already graduated from the school of rock with honors. The Maine have taken no classes, were given no grades, and had no teachers. Hailing from Phoenix, AZ all they had was a gut feeling that the music they were playing rocked and inspired kids nationwide. Huey Lewis & the News is an Academy Award-nominated American rock band based in San Francisco, California. They had a run of hit singles during the 1980s and early 1990s, scoring a total of 19 top-ten singles across the US Billboard Hot 100, Adult Contemporary and Mainstream Rock charts. Their greatest success was with their number-one album, Sports. Their worldwide fame expanded when their recording of "The Power of Love" was featured as a key track in the 1985 movie "Back to the Future" (in which Lewis made a cameo appearance).
General Sherman is an indie rock band from Ankeny, Iowa. It consists of four members: Becca, Dana, Scott, and Wayde. They are active in Iowa's local rock scene, often playing with the Envy Corps.
There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.
Metro Station is a powerpop band that formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2006. They signed to Columbia/Red Ink Records and are perhaps best known for their single "Shake It" off their self-titled debut album. Popularized mainly by their co-frontman Trace Cyrus, this music act has experienced a recent boom in their record sales. In 2007 Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso were introduced by their mothers on the set of Hannah Montana, in which Mason's brother Mitchel and Trace's sister Miley star in together.
Tonight Alive are a 5 piece pop-punk band from Castle Hill, Australia. The band consists of bassist Cameron Adler, guitarist Jake Hardy, vocalist Jenna McDougall, drummer Matty Best and guitarist/vocalist Whakaio "Whak" Taahi. Forming in 2008, the band have worked up a strong following in Australia's pop-punk scene, playing shows with bands such as Fireworks, Heroes For Hire and The Wonder Years.
