THE DEAD CLASS

The dead class were formed Feb 2006 in a psychedelic studio in Speakerland.
Since then, we've been travelling in UK and Ireland, released 2 albums on Cuatroku Music. BOO (Oct 2006) and IT'LL DAMN NEAR KILL YOU (APR 2008). Mixing molested pop songs with punk rock, folk, ska, crack cocaine and calpol is what gives the dead class it's unique and disturbingly tasty flavour!
We do quirky songs about cannibalism, consumerism, deranged psychopaths, magic cows and more serious topics like honesty, trust, friendship, relationships, pirateships, scary girls ...blah blah blah..

Faded Gold is the music of solo artist Stefanie Chew, an electronic experimental performer from Liverpool UK. Crafting her songs from her love of post rock and electronic music, the resulting output is an eclectic mix influenced by artists such as Explosions in the sky, Boards of Canada and M83 to name a few. "Faded Gold marries this air of melancholy to mournful piano and an electronic fuzz which is both reflective, tinged with sadness but ultimately uplifting" Getintothis.co.uk

The Room

There are at least two artists which use this name: 1. The Room were formed in the late 70`s by Dave Jackson and Becky Stringer (both later of Benny Profane, Dust and The Dead Cowboys) before going through various personnel changes and splitting in 1985. With their interesting mixture of smooth vocals (Mel Torne was a big influence), clever lyrics (at times worthy of Jackson’s hero Thomas Pynchon) and splindly yet melodic music (thin The Fall but with more emphasis on melody) the band though very...

Amsterdam

Amsterdam (1)
Amsterdam were formed on Merseyside in 1999 and promptly stayed there - mainly because they didn't really have any band members or any songs - but Ian Prowse had to tell his friends in the pub he had a new band going. A few gigs were played with various band line-ups and to stunning indifference, but all this changed in 2000 when the arrival of Ian's best-ever songs rescued him from the pub and they immediately won an NME competition to find the best-unsigned band of 2000. Next up the band were one of the winners at the prestigious music biz event In the City.
