Chet Faker

Shrouded in secrecy, hidden behind an alias and disguised by a beard, Chet Faker is an artist that enjoys the mystery. Hailing from the tight-knit deep disco scene in Melbourne, Australia and taking elements from an acoustic past, Chet Faker has carved out his own style that fuses personal stories of love and loss with an electronica soul, which reaches far beyond his homeland. Chet quickly came to everyone’s attention when his cover of 'No Diggity' hit number 1 on the worldwide indie music aggregator, Hype Machine.

Grinny Grandad

If you're going to listen to these songs, then grab a beer, get comfy, sit back and have your sense of humour switched to "Moderate". Imagine Mr Scruff drinking cups of tea with The Chemical Brothers whilst babysitting DJ Yoda and you might start to come close to the sounds infused by Grinny Grandad. Based on the 'scissors and string' mind of Chris Morton, these guys fuse surreal references with old school record-crate creativity and come out of it with an infectious brand of subterranean pop that makes you feel good deep down inside.
