Ophidian

1) Ophidian is Conrad Hoyer, a hardcore producer from Gelderland, Netherlands. Using keyboards and cassette recorders Conrad Hoyer started recording his first songs and mixes in 1993, 11 years old (born september first 1981) at the time. By 1995 hardcore music had become very infuential for the Dutch youth and he started using computer software to write hardcore songs. With the artists of the Ruffneck label as main lead he worked on perfecting his technique, specialising in fast, breakbeat-orriented juno-sound hardcore.

Carpathian Forest

Carpathian Forest (previously known as "The Childmolesters", then "Enthrone") emerged with the demo tape "Bloodlust and Perversion" in 1992. In 1993 the band released a second demo: Journey Through the Cold Moors of Svarttjern. The following year, Forest signed to Avantgarde Music and recorded their first EP, Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods in 1995, followed by the debut album Black Shining Leather in 1998.

Posthuman

There are 2) bands with the name Posthuman: 1) Posthuman are cousins Richard Bevan and Joshu Doherty. Known mainly for multi-layered electronic music, with heavy emphasis on intricate drum programming. A signature to their sound is the extensive use of Roland 808 and 909 drum machines. Formed in 1999 in Manchester, England, they relocated to London in 2000. The duo are also known for their own imprint, Seed Records...

Cryptopsy

Originating from the Montreal area, this group first appeared in 1992, when it was called Necrosis; in the same year it was reincarnated under the name of Cryptopsy. With just a demo called Ungentle Exhumation and then the album Blasphemy Made Flesh (1994), the group acquired a solid reputation on the international scene. Their release of None So Vile in 1996 was the first burst of brilliance in their career.

Led Astray

Utrecht, Utrecht Province, Netherlands (2002 - 2009) Utrecht based metalband Led Astray simply plays metal the way the bandmembers themselves like to hear it: a dynamic hybrid of death and thrash and although the band is not religious, there are undercurrents of spirituality in their lyrics. Led Astray was founded in 2002 by guitarists Martijn and Rogier with the intention of creating a refreshing mix of death and thrash in which the two styles complement each other seamlessly without sounding generic or attempting to be original.

Embers

There are five bands called Embers: A prog-soul band from London, a Hungarian metal band, a post-metal/hardcore fusion based in the UK, a a Californian Atmospheric metal band, and an Australian free-jazz/grind-noise quartet 1. Formed in June 2009, Embers met whilst studying at Goldsmiths University by a shared interest of children's TV theme tunes...and other musicy things. Fronted by Fabiana Palladino, the daughter of bass guitarist Pino Palladino.. the lineup is completed by Joe Newman, John Atterbury and Donna Thompson.

State Of East London

State Of East London are a 5 piece all round metal band from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released a 6 track EP "Animasitas", and have recorded a full length album 'Repugnance' which was released 2011. Announced on the bands myspace on March 31st, Marcel (vocals) has left the band citing differences in music taste and influence. The band is not looking for a new vocalist as they already have one lined up.

Birdflesh

Birdflesh started in October 1992 as a four piece band. One of the guitarplayers had to leave the band because it sounded like shit with two guitars. First demo was recorded in 1994 and the second was out in 1995. Did some shows in the hometown, rehearsed some, drank some beer and recorded the third demo, "Fishfucked", in 1997. The following years were pretty much the same. Did some shows, released some records and drank many beers. In September 1999 Birdflesh went on a Japan tour.
