FoxKillFox

Three piece scuzzy melodic grunge outfit from Glasgow, Scotland. Foxkillfox are regulars on the Glasgow and Edinburgh indie circuits and have a sound that draws influence from stalwarts such as dinosaur jr and the pixies. The vocals of Tom Hutchison retain a strong Scottish twang however, and help to create the band's unique sound.

The Mccluskey Brothers

The McCluskey Brothers are from Galsgow, Scotland. Ken and David McCluskey formed the band in 1986 after their departure from successful pop group The Bluebells. Marrying choppy guitar sounds and Celtic soulfulness, these siblings have a unique and intuitive understanding of melody, harmony and rhythm. Their sound and eclectic approach has influenced a goodly number of Glasgow-based bands. They recorded a critically-acclaimed album for Linn Records in 2000. It contained material from two previous albums, some self-penned material, along with lost Scottish folk songs.

Hue & Cry

Hue & Cry are coatbridge brothers Patrick (vocals) and Greg (instruments) Kane, who have been recording and performing since the mid-to-late 1980s to the present day. The Kanes became known for both their creative jazz-pop style records and Patrick's distinctive, soulful voice (drawing strong similarities to Level 42 in both respects) - despite not achieving overwhelming commercial success, they are well respected by a large fanbase, and have recorded and released albums regularly (some of them failing to chart in the UK).
