Hailing from Milton Keynes in the UK, FELLSILENT incorporate fierce polymetric timings with tuneful but raw vocals and powerful riffing to concoct their own unique style of hard nosed metal. This killer six piece have played shows across the UK with the likes of Skindred, SikTh, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Cult Of Luna, as well as recently co headlining UK tours with Enter Shikari, Exit Ten and Devil Sold His Soul, which has helped garner them further shows with the likes of Textures and Akercocke.

Two bands by this name: 1) NYC punk band circa 83-87 2) A neo-classical / progressive / power / melodic metal band featuring former Rising Force vocalist Mark Boals; guitar virtuoso Tony Macalpine, bass player Philip Bynoe and Virgil Donati on drums (Tony, Philip and Virgil have also played in Steve Vai band. Keyboards virtuoso Vitalij Kuprij also played in this band, but was replaced by Steve Weingart in 2003.

Scar Symmetry

Scar Symmetry is a melodic death metal band from Avesta, Sweden formed in 2004. In addition to the typical melodic death metal aesthetics (numerous melodies and harmonies in the guitars, growling vocals, etc.), they incorporate synthesised sounds into their music. Their lyrics are themed towards astronomy, philosophy, mysticism and inner struggles. The band's third album "Holographic Universe" was released on June 20, 2008.

Manes

Manes started around the end of 1992/early 93. It started as a project with Sargatanas on vocals and Cern on guitars, synths, programming etc. – basically everything besides the vocals. With that line-up Manes recorded the three demos „Maanens natt” (93), „Ned i stillheten” (94) and „Til kongens grav de døde vandrer” (95). The two first demos was later re-released by the Hammerheart Records sub-label „Unveiling the Wicked” in 98.

Shylock

1) Progressive rock band, 1970s, France With endless comparisons to King Crimson, Shylock remains one of the premier French symphonic bands. Other comparisons are made to Arachnoïd and Pulsar. Darkness is the key here. Their influence can be felt in such bands as Xaal, Minimum Vital, Tiemko, and Änglagård. 1977's "Gialorgues" was recorded with the primary membership consisting of drummer André Fisichella, guitarist Frédéric l'Épée (who went on to play with Philharmonie), and keyboardist Didier Lustig.

Ellipsis is a very open French progressive metal band, created in 1995, with some electro-gothic-dark-death elements. The other Ellipsis is a Philadelphia-area folk-rock band.
