There are at least two artist with name Makoto: 1. Based in Tokyo, Makoto Shimizu, better known as simply Makoto, is Japan's chief Drum & Bass ambassador. After completing an Acoustic Engineering major at Nippon University, Makoto first signed with LTJ Bukem's legendary Good Looking Records back in 1999.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, releasing a long string of quality music in the form of singles and EP's, but also on the famous 'Earth' and 'Progression Sessions' compilation albums.

Cobblestone Jazz is Mathew Jonson on drums and SH-101 bass, programmer Tyger Dhula, and Danuel Tate on keys and vocoder, Itiswhatitis Recordings, Vibraphone Biography Cobblestone Jazz have been performing live electronic music for four years on the west coast of British Columbia. The three members of the group are programmer Tyger Dhula, keyboardists Danuel Tate and Mathew Jonson, whose recent works for Itiswhatitis, Minus and Substatic have brought him international recognition.

Beady Belle

Beady Belle is a result of collaboration between Beate S. Lech and Marius Reksjø which began at the University of Oslo. As music students the two started playing together in bands such as “Insertcoin” and Folk & Røvere, a project where Beate was the lead singer up until their third album (1999). In 1999 Beate was asked by Bugge Wesseltoft to make a record for Jazzland rec. He gave her freedom to make the record she wanted.
