Mercy

1) American one-hit wonder pop group from Florida. They released an album in 1969 entitled Mercy - Love Can Make You Happy; this peaked at #38 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 chart[1] as a result of the success of their hit single, "Love (Can Make You Happy)". The tune spent two weeks at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and also peaked at #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. 2) Metal band from Sweden. The death of its remaining member in 2005 ended the group, which generally passed unnoticed.

40 Watt Sun

40 Watt Sun is the new music project of singer/guitarist/songwriter Patrick Walker, best known for his previous band, Warning. 40 Watt sun sees Patrick Walker accompanied by drummer/percussionist Christian Leitch, previously best known as the guitarist and founder-member of london-based band The River, and bass player William Spong. They made their live debut at a small, intimate show at the scream lounge, London, on the 20th December 2009 playing with the London-based band Wake.

Age Of Taurus

Age Of Taurus is a two-piece band with Toby W. Wright on vocals, guitars and bass, together with Sam 'Shredder' Thredder on drums. Their first 4 track demo is an awesome slice of classic traditional Doom Metal. Influenced by the likes of Candlemass, Penance, Mercy, Stillborn, Pagan Altar, Revelation, Orodruin, Saxon, Count Raven, Brocas Helm, Dark Quarterer and Black Sabbath, Age Of Taurus have the skills to give you the doom thrills! While there is nothing new here or original, the band have a timeless, classic sound that should make them favorites among fans of the Doom Metal underground.

Pseudo Nippon

Pseudo Nippon was born in japan in 1984, then moved over to England in his childhood. He started making music in 2006, sounding like a madded capped hardcore J Popstar, early demos were played on Magz Hall's You Are Hear Show on Resonance FM. Since then he has played with the likes of Dj Scotch Egg, Pivot, Drum Eyes, Lonely Ghosts, Pre and Bearsuit amongst many others. He is bringing out a record on the brighton based O.I.B label which will be distributed through Southern. This 7inch vinyl is called 'Edamame Freakout' containing four tracks.

Solstice

Solstice (Doom Metal, UK) formed 1990 in Bradford and is currently signed to the Miskatonic Foundation, which the founding guitarist, Rich Walker is in charge of, the MIskatonic Foundation, which has released CDs by Twisted Tower Dire, Ritual Steel, Ironsword, Revelation (US), and The Lord Weird Slough Feg. He was also apart of one of the first and most infamous grindcore and noisecore band Sore Throat. Since formation, they are active to this day.

Wino

Wino can refer to a new American metal band, an American noise rock band or a Japanese alternative rock band. 1) Wino is the name of the new band of Scott 'Wino' Weinrich of Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan and The Hidden Hand-fame. They have released one album 'Punctuated Equilibrium' in 2009. Shortly after the supporting European tour in April Wino's bass player Jon Blank died of an overdose.
