Having been friends for several years and gathering experience in bands like Battle Royale,
Disrespect, Shortage and Lifeforce, for some local scenesters the time was right to bring
the violence back to the dancefloor. And what better way to do this without getting hurt
themselves than to form a band. They started jamming in 2003, with the aim of playing
straight up, traditional hardcore with a progressive shape and the taste of major

Since forming in 1999, Pound For Pound from Springfield, IL have proven themselves to be one of the hardest working hardcore bands in the Midwest. Born Into Suffering is a Vegan Beatdown/Hardcore/Metal band from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in mid-2007 as just a basic Beatdown band, however the members were all Vegetarian or Vegan, and felt the need to voice the concerns and frustrations of a world gone mad with greed and the soulless manipulation of animal kind. The message is simple, GO FUCKING VEGAN! Angry and heavy, but full of heart.
