Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Bitch Brigade is dark electro band founded in 2006 by Agr1ppa. Bitch Brigade began as an experiment for Agr1ppa and blends a mixture of power noise, industrial and electro-pop. The rest of Bitch Brigade members are Zero_ (keyboards) and Ping! (drums). Bitch Brigade has released online their first EP "Pastel Aggressive" on 16 Feb 2010. Band has signed to the U.S. based crunch pod label to release her debut album "Dendrite".
Tonne | Biography Renowned audio/visual artist Tonne (Paul Farrington) has been described by The Wire as an "interactive software visionary". His interactive 'soundtoys', which he has created for Depeche Mode, Mute and Moby, have set the benchmark for music 'packaging' in a post-print landscape. Farrington's audio has also featured on numerous labels worldwide including BiP-HOp and Klitekture. His 'Soundtoy' CD - a collaboration with Scanner, si-cut.db, and Hakan Libdo - was a precursor to many similar audio/visual experiments, suggesting possible audio futures.
Basically, The Bays play 100% improvised sets of electronica and ambient music. They do not sell records, merchandise, or do any kind of promotions. They play music for the sheer pleasure of playing music and don't want to have any kind of corporate influence of any kind. They mostly play shows in the UK as well as select other events in Europe. Etienne de Crécy was born in Lyon in 1969. Etienne moved to Versailles from Marseille in the mid 80's, attending the same Jules Ferry college as Air and Alex Gopher, with whom he later created the 'Solid' label. He then worked in Paris as a sound engineer at studio +XXX (plus thirty) where he met Philippe Zdar of Cassius, with whom he worked on the Motorbass album, a preview of what would be his second album: Super Discount, released in 1996, with Air, Alex Gopher and other French artists on Solid.
Fresh, Melodic, Inspirational, three words that best describe Dave as a DJ and Producer. His sets have a distinctive melodic progressive feel, combining deeper house sounds with the more trancey and techy.
Dave regularly features alongside artists such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Andy Moor at The Gallery @ Ministry Of Sound, London. Other highlights include warming up the decks for Eric Prydz at Fabric and supporting the likes of Mr Sam at Electronic Sessions, London. Dave's sets are always well received and convey his own deep passion for music.
Metals is Christopher Coe and Candice Butler. Chris is a Melbourne based producer/writer/DJ who has been composing, performing and releasing recordings under the Digital Primate moniker for several years now. His most recent release "Keep Calm and Carry On" was mixed by The Mad Professor. Raised in South Australia, Candice was a published poet at age 11 and grew up on stage and TV, performing as a dancer and actor throughout her childhood.
