Jahcoozi

Hailing from the Berlin club scene, Jahcoozi is a bass heavy trio consisting of London-born Sri Lankan front woman Sasha Perera, and producers / multi-instrumentalists: Robot Koch, the hardcore Berliner and Israeli born Oren Gerlitz. After meeting in Berlin in 2002, their story of coming up in the ranks reads like a musician's wet dream: Having built up a solid fan-base with their freaky underground shows, they released their debut single entitled Fish in 2003 (WMF Records) which did in fact earn them no less than a spotlight on the cult BBC show of the late John Peel.

Ingrid

Ingrid is a name of at least three acts: 1) A hardcore duo from DC with two former members of Mass Movement of the Moth. 2) Named after the famous film star, Ingrid Bergman. Her parents ran a cinema (and still do) and Ingrid grew up watching movies which she says were a major influence on her decision to become a singer. Films sparked her imagination and fuelled her ambition to communicate strong emotions to as many people as possible. She started acting, painting and singing, soon to discover that for her music was the most powerful form of expression.

Thomas Bronzwaer

Born in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) on the 30th of September, 1984, he became interested in dance music around the age of 13. Around 2000 Tiesto, Push and others came into the picture. Thomas released his first record in 2003 - a collaboration with Greg Murray who took care of the technical aspect of producing while Thomas wrote the themes.

James Cox & The West Street Gables

As the name suggests, this band consists of a carousel of members, friends and musicians revolving around the nucleus that is one boy called James Cox.
James hails from a very small town in rural Mid Wales originally. You’d then be correct to assume that the incredibly beautiful and peaceful landscape, as well as the area’s deep seated history in traditional folk music would have remained a constant inspiration for James when growing up. However, the very depth of this musically fruitful start for James only really shone through after his move to London.

Take

(For the Korean boy band, see 테이크.) There is more than one artist under this name: 1. Based in Los Angeles, Take (Sweatson Klank) is a composer who continues to push the boundaries of instrumental hip-hop music into new directions. After multiple successful EP's under his belt, Take finally unleashed his debut full length player in 2007, Earthtones and Concrete. This music is nothing short of an epic journey with continuously evolving collages that lead the listener down a dust covered road of bit-crushed melodies and molested jazz samples.

Green Velvet

During the early days before he became a house musician, he earned a degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Up until this point music had been a hobby fueled by cobbling together tracks on his "sixty buck keyboard, a cheap four-track and a cheap drum machine" while still an undergraduate at the University of Illinois. This DIY method of production was never taken seriously and when childhood plans to become a doctor were shelved Jones was firmly committed to a career as a chemical engineer...
