They are influenced by The Minutemen, Magma, Mae Shi and other bands beginning with an M. Regardless of these influences, they sound a bit like "a council estate Butthole Surfers", to quote Terrorizer magazine.
In the last year GvsY have preformed numerous times in the UK and Europe.

Ceephax Acid Crew (often simply credited as Ceephax) is a British acid house and drum and bass electronic musician named Andy Jenkinson who influenced the genre a&d (analogue and digital). Jenkinson is also known simply by the pseudonym Ceephax, which is a pun on the BBC teletext service Ceefax. He is the brother of Squarepusher (Tom Jenkinson), and this fact is often mentioned in press articles about Ceephax and his music (as well as here on Last.FM). Ceephax and Global Goon were housemates. Ceephax's career.

This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.

The Transients are known for creating catchy melodies with tight polished production, dishing up everything from pounding gritty basslines to feel-good pop songs. Both graduates from WAAPA in Perth, they started making music together in 2006 and in a short time are achieving amazing things. In 2008 they won Artist of the Year in the Musicoz Awards and in August 2009 released their EP Crossfades.
Members Kool Keith, Ced Gee, TR Love and Moe Love released their debut album Critical Beatdown, produced by Paul C., in 1988 and inspired the world of hip hop with their original sound of unorthodox sampling, polysyllabic rhymes, and bizarre lyrical imagery.
