The Bear That Wasn't

A bear settles down for his long winter nap, and while he sleeps, the progress of man continues. He wakes up to find himself in the middle of an industrial complex. He then gets confused by the foreman as a worker and is told to work. To this, he responds,"But I'm not a man, I'm a Bear". He's then taken to each of his successive bosses, who try to convince him that he's just a very hairy man who needs a shave...

Creature With the Atom Brain

Creature with the Atom Brain is a Belgian alternative rock band consisting of Millionaire keyboardist Aldo Struyf (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Dave Schroyen (Drums), Jan Wygers (Bass) and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen (Guitar). The band have been said to make "fuzzy stripped-back rock’n'roll noise with a generous helping of weird." The band's name is taken from the Roky Erickson & the Aliens song (which in turn was taken from the 1955 film of the same name), with Struyf citing Erickson's former band the 13th Floor Elevators and the man himself as influencing Creature with the Atom Brain's sound.

Amatorski

Amatorski is a young Belgian band formed in 2008 and based in Ghent, with a melancholic and narrative style, and some reminiscences of Portishead, Sigur Rós, or Radiohead. The intimate song Come Home hit #1 in 'De Afrekening', the alternative hit chart on radio station Studio Brussel. In 2010 they released the Same Stars We Shared (Amatorski debut) EP. Their debut longplayer TBC was released in May 2011.

The Experimental Tropic Blues Band

This is a band that has set out to continue the legacy of the big names of rock'n'roll - Johnny Cash, the Cramps, Elvis, Bo Diddley, Hasil Adkins - setting to music stories of damned souls. Though not known for being an exciting country, they are indeed from Belgium, and they do indeed manage to whip up an atmosphere of wild debauchery at all their gigs. Their performances are hot and spicy, frequently involving nudity, alongside their stomping bluesy rock'n'roll tunes. You'll drink up their sound and the atmosphere to the last drop.

BRNS

From the medieval and postmodern corners of Brussels come BRNS, a mesmerizing experiment in dusk, dance, and the fullness of sound. Like the dark-yet-vibrant images of Brussels artist Yardz, this quartet of talented multi-instrumentalists weaves together tunes that are mystical, moody and insatiably catchy. From the visceral and danceable 'Mexico', to the choir echoes turned pulsating anthem of 'Here Dead He Lies', BRNS is ceaseless in their ability to unfold haunting ambience into chest-pounding beats, and then back again.
