In a short two years West Melbourne band Distant Wreck have become an integral part of Melbourne's quickly emerging "new blood". Having joined many of the countries finest bands on stage (Carpathian, Miles Away, Break Even, Hopeless) as well as internationals Shai Hulud and Ruiner; Distant Wreck are now ready to make their presence known as a band who holds their own. Their recently recorded “United Nothings" release is a five track precursor to the bands full length to be recorded in April this year.

Giant walls of guitar noise reach into the human psyche, with output flowing over 27 minutes across 5 unique tracks.

Whilst still relativley young, the band has gained alot of interest from the local scene. After only releasing a two song demo, the band had already been put on the 2010 'Mistake Tour' featuring local heavyweights Confession and Thy Art Is Murder.
