Tim Burgess (born Timothy Allan Burgess on May 30, 1967, in Salford, Lancashire, England) is the lead singer of British rock/indie act The Charlatans. He joined the Charlatans in 1989 and was signed, with the band, by Beggars Banquet Records in 1990. Prior to this he was the lead singer in The Electric Crayons. Tim also Featured on Saint Etienne's 1993 Christmas single "I was born on Christmas day".

20 years olds, Andy (drums), Robin (bass), Pete (guitar) and Sped (guitar), mates since primary school, welcomed Duncan as the final member (vocals), after he arrived sogging wet, from a traipse across Marple Bridge, in the usual pissing rain. It was an audition that no-one could remember organising. The first single release off the Dutch Uncles; debut album Face In, produced by Gareth Parton (The Go! Team, Foals, Pete And The Pirates)...

LoneLady emerged from the Manchester in 2005 armed with a Telecaster, a 4-track and a drum machine. She first began making waves with her debut single, "Hi Ho Bastard/Fear No More" (released June 2005). This was followed in October with the "Have No Past" EP. LoneLady’s first show outside Manchester was at 2006’s SXSW festival in Texas - where she was invited to play on the strength of these 4-track recordings. Billboard listed LoneLady as one of their ‘Ones to watch’ in their SXSW 2007 preview feature.
