3-piece Alternative art-Rock band from Manchester consists of 'David R' (ex-Kings of Hong Kong, Aniseed and Purple Effect), Paul 'Pai' Williams (previously in Obsessive Compulsive) and Ms Sarit Black.
David R Black have gigged extensively throughout the UK, Europe and the USA and have toured with NEW MODEL ARMY, THE MISSION, THREE COLOURS RED, LIVING COLOUR, THE TUBES, SPIN DOCTORS, ELBOW, HANOI ROCKS, FISHBONE, BREED 77, HUGH CORNWELL (STRANGLERS), THE DONOTS, ANTIPRODUCT, and more.

Attak

Formed in early 1981 in New Mills, Manchester, as a four piece band, Attak reverted to a trio when their singer left for school commitments. They released two singles in this form, with Lindsay, sister of Mackie from Blitz, being the drummer. A new guitarist was recruited for their album before they split up in late 1983. Gary later turned up in a revamped Blitz and provided the vocals on their "Killing Dream" album. Gary and Lindsay married in 1985.

Tim Burgess

Tim Burgess (born Timothy Allan Burgess on May 30, 1967, in Salford, Lancashire, England) is the lead singer of British rock/indie act The Charlatans. He joined the Charlatans in 1989 and was signed, with the band, by Beggars Banquet Records in 1990. Prior to this he was the lead singer in The Electric Crayons. Tim also Featured on Saint Etienne's 1993 Christmas single "I was born on Christmas day".

Lonelady

LoneLady emerged from the Manchester in 2005 armed with a Telecaster, a 4-track and a drum machine. She first began making waves with her debut single, "Hi Ho Bastard/Fear No More" (released June 2005). This was followed in October with the "Have No Past" EP. LoneLady’s first show outside Manchester was at 2006’s SXSW festival in Texas - where she was invited to play on the strength of these 4-track recordings. Billboard listed LoneLady as one of their ‘Ones to watch’ in their SXSW 2007 preview feature.
