Cosmotheka

Dave Sealey and his brother Al formed Cosmotheka in 1972. They named their act after a music hall, and that's what they did - collected and sang music hall songs. They did some of the well known ones, but also a lot of previously forgotten material, full of double meanings and general silliness. Their act was based on incredible speed and repartee beteen the two of them. They performed mainly in folk clubs. Al died in 1999 and Dave has been performing solo since then.
