Kansas Burns are an alternative/post-hardcore/post-rock four piece from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Formed in 2006, the band have self-released two EPs to date, 'Stand by for safety instructions' (2007) and the newly released follow up, 'Rip out your heart', which is available via itunes and mail order. 'Rip out your heart' was recorded at Base HQ Studios, Newcastle by Rich McCall and was mastered by Jon Astley (The Who, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin...) www.kansasburns.co.uk
