Forever Can Wait

Forever Can Wait are a 5 piece female fronted pop punk/alternative band from Southampton who formed in October 2009.
After over a year of gigging, the young quintet have definitely managed to make their mark on the Southampton scene by landing support slots with bands like Twenty Twenty, Burn The Fleet, Don Broco, Yashin, MiMi Soya and Kids Can't Fly, along with out of town shows with Fireworks and Save Your Breath. They also managed to land a headline slot at the Joiners back in January 2011 as part of their EP release but also to mark a year since their first show as a band and at their favourite hometown venue. Back at the start of July the band went on their first tour, managing to land shows in places as far as Newcastle and Dundee.
The young 5 piece are known for their upbeat and exciting shows, always keeping the crowds attention with lead singer Tash’s impressive vocals which are complimented well with catchy riffs and punchy backing from the rest of the band. Forever Can Wait are definitely ones to watch in 2011.

John Stammers

John Stammers lives in Chorlton, a leafy Suburb of Manchester, England. With artists, musicians, and young entrepreneurs setting their roots down and the streets littered with Shops, restaurants, café’s, and Bars, it has been said that Chorlton is the “Laural Canyon of the North of England” and John Stammers is part of the Furniture. The Dulcimer, a tavern dedicated to the gospel of folk, jazz, pop and all things Balearic, is where you might catch John either playing Live or talking music till the midnight. John has now finished recording a new LP which will be released on Wonderfulsound on 14th February 2011. Time has been spent on recording these songs with everything being mixed to tape. Vinyl copies of this LP will mastered from tape. Producing a true analogue experience. The only digital process occurs when the songs are transferred to CD and even then it was transposed via a Vinyl cutting Lathe so even the CD master has that authentic tone and quality of a vinyl record. John Stammers is going to capture the hearts of many a music fan with this killer album a mix jazz/blues/folk/balearic filled with well-crafted melodies and instrumental pieces, hints of trad arrangements and flashes of contemporary Popular song. John has managed to forge his way into a rather overpopulated live music scene and has effortlessly left his mark.

Mutant Vinyl

Mutant Vinyl is a musical journey through John Coltrane, Massive Attack, and Prince via Dave Grohl, wrapped up in big rhythms and addictive hooks. Unashamedly influenced but not copying, my music is original and emotive.

Based in the deep south of Dorset, I set about jamming as a solo act, writing and playing everything myself, with my Guitar, black Sax and a Mac onstage: the response at every gig has been beyond expectation, and many more dates have followed. Local promoter Conrad Barr said after my debut: “One of the most exciting debuts I’ve seen…”.

My songs have been featured on Recharged Radio, Amazing Tunes, Hits of the Near Future and local radio. With my newly formed band I reached the final of the Dorset Music Awards, and we’ve recently won our place in the semi-finals of the Wedgewood Rooms’Unsigned Showcase. Our most recent gigs in London and Endorse It festival have extended our experience and our audience.
