Red Rum

St Petersburg-based band Red Rum creates an inventive kind of music that would be easiest categorized as experimental rock. This vague description in Red Rum’s case includes bits of alternative rock, psychedelic breaks, the more adventurous side of indie, electronics and some quirky/surreal elements that seem to come from no outside influence. Formed in 2004, the band consists of 3 members: Ndk (vocals/guitar/electronics), Eugene Byrd (bass) and Gorsky (drums). Their studio recordings including 4 EPs and one album feature Red Rum’s 2004-2010 live lineup.

People in Planes

People in Planes is an alternative rock group from Porthcawl, Wales which formed in 2000. Previously the group was known as Robots in the Sky, and later Tetra Splendour before settling on People in Planes. The band consists of Gareth Jones (vocals, guitar), Pete Roberts (guitar), Kris Blight (bass), Ian Russell (keyboards) and John Maloney (drums). When the Welsh rock quintet People in Planes came upon their band name, they knew that it expressed their sound — modern yet human, with a global reach and sense of transit and adventure — and the philosophy behind the music they create.
