The Blue Aeroplanes
Wonderfully eclectic and chaotic Bristol combo. Gerard Langley and Wojtek Dmochowski (dance) have been the heart of an ever changing line up since the mid 80's. It's said that if you spit in certain pubs in Bristol you are certain to hit a current or former Aeroplane. At times it seems like they're all on stage with a guitar in their hand @ once. They've gone from indie label to major and back again via legal wrangles.

The Operation
The Operation is kind of known for being "the band before mewithoutYou": Greg Jehanian, Michael Weiss, Aaron Weiss, Chris Kleinberg were all members. They released There is Hope For a Tree Cut Down from Take Hold Records, but stopped soon after when mewithoutYou, which began as a side project, became more popular and a serious deal.

The Drums
There is more than one group that goes by the name The Drums.
1 ) Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham met at summer camp when they were children and have been best friends ever since. Soon after their initial meeting, they formed Goat Explosion and toured extensively in North America during their teenage years. Around 2003, Jonathan and Adam Kessler formed Elkland. In the meantime, Jacob formed a band called HORSE SHOES (Shelflife Records).

Emma Cook
Since the release of 2008 Ontario Independent Music Award nominee Emma Cook’s debut album "Manifesto," Emma has been rapidly garnering attention on the folk scene in Canada. Her second release “Hit & Run” (2009) has had her busy touring both across Canada and the USA, with dates at SXSW, NYC’s famed Bitter End and Cape May Singer Songwriter in New Jersey. Honeytrap
Formed in Coventry in 2005. Honeytrap (UK) have released a limited edition vinyl single named Andy The Freefaller, an EP called Naked Dancing and an album called Follies in Great Cities all on the Tough Love Records label. Their Myspace account is at www.myspace.com/honeytraponmyspace. Honeytrap (USA) are a desert-wave/stoner-fuzz group from Melbourne, Australia. They released a 2005 EP "Bull's Can't Be Choreogrpahed" recorded by Jason Fuller (Blood Duster), this year are set to release their follow up "Own Private Intervention".
