John Prine (born October 10, 1946 in Maywood, Illinois) is an american country/folk singer-songwriter who has achieved widespread critical (and some commercial) success since the early 1970s. The son of William Prine and Verna Hamm, his grandfather had played guitar with Merle Travis and he started playing guitar himself at 14 years old. Artist Type:

Dana Immanuel

Dana had a very good education which somewhat passed her by as nothing is as much fun as playing a guitar. Via an unconventional route of occasional employment and the odd band, she somehow found herself busking on the London Underground and this sorry excuse for a day job honed her performance skills down to a fine point. Early childhood trauma left Dana with a propensity to play the banjo, and the massive amounts of spare time that a career in busking affords allowed her to indulge and nurture her dirty habit.

Supersuckers

The Supersuckers are an American garage punk band. They are the self-proclaimed "Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World." Following the relative success of their 1997 foray into country music with the release of Must've Been High, they have also been known to play country shows under various names, including, of course, The Supersuckers. As of April 2005, the members are Eddie Spaghetti on bass and lead vocals along with Rontrose Heathman and Dan "Thunder" Bolton on guitars.

Now, after years of national touring at top theaters and festivals, Bearfoot joins these iconic pop peers, with the broad horizon of the Americana frontier in their souls. Bearfoot is deeply American music.

Artist Type:

The Humour

Hailing from Wakefield, The Humour are all just 20 years old, though they’re already making it out of their home town in a very big way. Indeed, their reputation of being the UK’s next big rock band is spreading throughout the country. Sell out shows in the larger room at the Leeds Cockpit are hard enough for big-name, major-label bands with huge marketing budgets to achieve. But for The Humour, it’s standard stuff.

Artist Type:

Carus Thompson

Carus Thompson could easily take a well earned break. Either solo or with his band Carus & the True Believers he has toured the world relentlessly for the last ten years, garnering substantial followings in the U.K, Germany, France and Australia. He has sold over 30,000 CDs independently, supported luminaries such as Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, John Butler and The Waifs and been a regular a many of the major festivals.

Artist Type:
Singer Songwriter

Patricia Vonne

Over the eight years since her debut album, Patricia Vonne has proven herself a truly ascendant and transcendent musical artist. The lovely San Antonio, Texas born and bred Chicana “has absorbed just about every indigenous musical style Texas has on offer, and can summon any one in the flick of a castanet or guitar pick,” notes the Houston Press. In the same fashion as her lyrically and stylistically multilingual sound melds and soars above a rainbow of genres and musical flavors, Vonne has also handily crossed geographic borders...
