Bosque Brown

For all intents and purposes, Mara Lee Miller is a solo singer songwriter but has chosen the moniker Bosque Brown as the vehicle for her recordings. Her lyrics are simple and full of "truth-telling" and "woe." Bosque Brown Plays Mara Lee Miller was released May 2005 and was backed by a wonderful handful of musicians from Seattle. The latest release is a vinyl one-sided LP which consists of four songs and an etching on the b side. A cd version is also included with the LP for portability.

Old Man Markley

An amalgam of LA’s finest punk bands and seasoned bluegrass musicians, Old Man Markley is creating music that defies boundaries and transcends genres. Founded in 2007 in the sunny San Fernando Valley, OMM cut its teeth playing countless jams of bluegrass standards and covers of distinctly un-bluegrass songs done bluegrass style. Soon, out of the chaos grew original material that combined everything the band loved about all the different styles of music the members grew up playing and writing. The band played its first official show in 2008 at a small bar called the Old Towne Pub in Pasadena.

During the hot and ethereal days of summer, at Mitch’s rancho..., uhm, yy, aa – at Mitch’s flat..

Deadstring Brothers

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Deadstring Brothers are forging their own imprint far removed from anything remotely close to what we've been conditioned to expect from the Motor City. While their hometown counterparts follow Iggy Pop's footsteps so closely they're practically ripping the skin off his heels, Deadstring Brothers style embraces a sound from somewhere far beyond the Wayne County line.
