The Whitlams

The Whitlams are an Australian four-piece band hailing from Newtown, New South Wales. Formed in 1992, the band originally comprised Tim Freedman (lead vocals, piano), Stevie Plunder (lead vocals, guitar) and Andy Lewis (double bass, backing vocals). The line-up has changed many times over the years with Tim the only consistent member of the band, not to mention the only original member still alive. In the current line-up Terepai Richmond hits the drums, Warwick Hornsby plays the bass, and Jak Housden steals the scene on the electric guitar alongside the ever-present Tim Freedman.

The correct tag is "Guns N' Roses". Guns N' Roses are an American rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The band, led by frontman and co-founder Axl Rose, has gone through numerous line-up changes and controversies since their formation.

Deborah Bonham

Born in Worcestershire, the younger sister of the late John and Michael Bonham. Deborah was only five when John joined Led Zeppelin, and this powerful introduction sparked in her the overwhelming desire to write and perform. Her home was The Old Hyde farm, where she lived with her father, John Henry Bonham snr, known as Jack, in the cottage at the back of The Old Hyde Farm. Her brother, John and his family, lived in the main House.

Formed from a bizarre experiment involving a computer and hideous amount of dancing The Blue Screen of Death is best described as a riff based party machine. Many many shows have happened since the four-piece's creation in late 2006 and here are two demonstrations, recorded in 2008, for you to hear.

NitroVille

NitroVille is a female fronted, Blues driven, Hardrock band from London. Born in a barn in Shoreditch in early 2010 by vocalist Tola Lamont and guitarist Kurt Michael Boeck. Both shared a vision on how pure and unfiltered Rock ‘n’ Roll should sound and started writing for live shows and their album Can’t Stop What’s Comin’, combining lyrical story-telling with solid rock musicianship. From Denmark, Fussi Andersen joined the band later that year to underpin Kurt Michael Boeck’s Texan guitar style with hard driving bass lines and harmonies.

Alfa 9

Alfa 9 release their second album Gone To Ground in 2013 on Blow Up Records. The self produced twelve song set was recorded in their home town of Newcastle-under-Lyme at their own Dungeon Studios. Mixed in London by Myles Clarke (The Who / Pete Townsend). After several years had gone by between the release of their debut Then We Begin the band have remerged with Gone To Ground. Now a four piece with the addition of Andrew Vernon on drums: Phil Mason on Guitar / Vocals; Ali Heath - Guitar / Vocals; Lean Jones - Guitar / keyboards; and Andrew Vernon - Drums

John Verity

John Verity, born 3 July 1949 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England was a member of the band Argent from 1973 to 1976. When Argent split up he formed Phoenix with Bob Henrit and Jim Rodford from Argent. The band recorded three albums with CBS Records and toured Europe before disbanding.[1] Rodford joined the Kinks, John and Bob joined Charlie, to record an album with RCA Records. John produced the Phoenix albums and Charlie album as well as the first Saxon album.

Paul Collins

Paul Collins was a founding member of The Nerves, a legendary underground rock group from 1974-77. (Other legendary rock groups formed in 1974, including Blondie, The Ramones, Radio Birdman and The Dictators). The Nerves were a 3-piece band featuring the talents of Jack Lee, Peter Case (The Plimsouls) and Paul Collins (The Beat). Aside from touring with The Ramones, The Nerves funded their own recordings without a record deal. The Nerves originally recorded the song Hanging On The Telephone, which was leter covered by Deborah Harry and Blondie on the chart topping "Parallel Lines" album.

Benny Sings

Benny Sings - Art (2011) Benny Sings has finally graduated. With his new album Art, which was released on 27 May 2011, the multifaceted producer/composer/singer feels that it has all come together. ‘Making albums is a learning process. After every album I felt as if I completed another year at the Benny Sings Music University. And Art is my graduation project. It’s the finale to my ten years of toil. I now have my diploma. It represents my first work as a mature artist – my first real “work of art’’.’

Sweet

Sweet (referred to as The Sweet on albums before 1974 and singles before 1975) were a popular 1970s british band. Although Sweet were largely known for their glam rock image, and several hit singles — many of them being so-called teenage anthems — they also released several albums throughout a ten year career. The extent of Sweet's domination of the charts in Europe resulted in eight number one singles in Germany, with pop oriented tunes as "Co Co", "Little Willy", and "Wig Wam Bam".
