Lone taxidermist

The Lone Taxidermist plays with the macabre and gothic to create a disturbed beauty that exists in the darkest spaces of our minds. This one woman band comprises of saws, organs, bells, broken strings, old blues howling and an exquisite voice. The sound teeters on the edge of something beautiful and terrifying, that void were pleasure and pain mingle, tantalizing the ears. Natalie cut her teeth as the lead singer/songwriter of the very popular Manchester band The Bottomfeeders. But The Bottomfeeders are now dead.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Lila is a young girl from Austria who performs melancholic Rock/Pop.
2) Lila is an experimental-acoustic band originally from Tokyo, Japan. The band is named after the the lead singer's dead cat. Lila was first formed in 2004 and is the main project of two high school students, Gene Fukui(singer) and Sakiko Suga(guitarist).
Lila released their first EP, "FIREFLY EATS THE ROBOT", in May 2007. They are the collaboration of teenage angst and the tontemporary indie requiem - having a delicate balance of melancholy and hopefulness.

Syl Johnson

Syl Johnson (b. July 1, 1936) is an American blues and soul singer and music producer. Born Sylvester Thompson in Holly Springs, Mississippi, Johnson sang and played with blues artists Magic Sam, Billy Boy Arnold, Junior Wells and Howlin' Wolf in the 1950s, before recording with Jimmy Reed for Vee-Jay in 1959. He made his solo debut that same year with Federal, a subsidiary of King Records of Cincinnati, backed by Freddie King on guitar.
