Mojo Juju & the Snake Oil Merchants

Straight out of Newcastle NSW Australia we have Mojo Juju and the Snake Oil Merchants. Think Humanwine, Dresden Dolls, Rasputina all put together with a bit of a "Gypsy its a full moon tonight twist." Every note that comes out of the assortment of instruments is beautiful, banjo, bass, harmonica, and accordion just to name a few. The lead singer has a jazzy bluesy sultry voice that effortlessly resonates through the slew of instruments. They are an experience everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy.

Ben E. King

Ben E. King (born Benjamin Earl Nelson in September 28, 1938 in Henderson, North Carolina) is an American soul and pop singer. He is best known as the singer and co-composer of "Stand By Me", a top ten hit in both 1961 and 1986. In 1958, Ben Nelson joined a doo wop group, The Five Crowns. Later that same year, The Drifters' manager fired the members of the group and replaced them with The Five Crowns, who had performed several engagements with The Drifters. He co-wrote the first hit by the new version of The Drifters, "There Goes My Baby" (1959).

http://www.danafuchs.com/ The youngest of six musical children, Dana was raised in Wildwood, Florida. At the age of twelve she joined the First Baptist Gospel Choir and began singing in public. At sixteen she was fronting a popular local band at a roadside Holiday Inn. She moved to New York City at nineteen. She began collaborating with Jon Diamond, a guitarist who had toured with Joan Osborne and W.C. Handy Award winner Debbie Davies. They formed the Dana Fuchs Band. The band was a feature act at a number of clubs, performing with the likes of John Popper, James Cotton, and Taj Mahal.

Patrick Sweany

Patrick Sweany (b. April 1974) is a Blues-rock musician from Massillon, Ohio. Patrick Sweany first gained prominence in the late 1990's as an acoustic blues guitarist and singer at many Blues Festivals around the U.S. His first CD I Wanna Tell You was released in 1999 and drew critical acclaim from prominent musicians such as Roy Book Binder and Jimmy Thackery. In 2001, Patrick formed an electric trio called simply The Patrick Sweany Band.

Dave Formula

Dave Formula, (born David Tomlinson 1946), is an English keyboardist and composer from Manchester, UK who played with the post-punk band Magazine, and New Romantic ensemble Visage during the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s, in Ludus and in the "world music" band The Angel Brothers. He started out in the mid-sixties (ca. 1965) and achieved some success with the R&B / Blues / Soul band St.

Buddy Whittington

Buddy Whittington (born 28 December 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American guitar player. He began playing the guitar inspired by his sister's records of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and, in particular, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton. At the age of 14 he was already a part of the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene and playing regularly in the clubs along Jacksboro Highway. While attending high school, Buddy played in a band called "Short Change" which opened for Point Blank (band), a band that he would later join, replacing rhythm guitar player Kim Davis.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds

The Fabulous Thunderbirds are a blues-rock band, formed in 1974. Their original line up included guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, who is indeed the older brother of the influential electrical blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. After performing for several years in the Austin, Texas blues scene, they earned a recording contract with Chrysalis Records and later signed to Arista. The first two albums released in 1979 and 1980 (with Keith Ferguson on bass and Mike Buck on drums), did not initially sell well, but are now regarded as successful white blues recordings.
