The Australian indie four-piece flew overseas in 2008 to play the Great Escape Festival in the UK after Martin Elbourne (former agent of New Order, The Smiths) immediately confirmed City Riots after watching the band perform just a few weeks beforehand. The band was part of a stellar line-up including The Wombats, Vampire Weekend and The Futureheads, as well as playing sideshows at the Camden Barfly and the International Pop Festival in Liverpool.

Her music has flavors of classical, piano, soul cabaret, and Broadway blues. Her live shows are sometimes solo, and at other times include bass, drums, cello, violin, and/or sax. Holly Throsby is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter. Holly's songs are mostly set at night, and are built around finger-picked guitar and her distinctive, fragile voice. The arrangements, which incorporate double bass, piano accordian, melodian, clarinet and the barest of vocal recordings, are both delicate and painterly. She has released three full length albums- On Night in 2004, Under The Town in 2006 and A Loud Call in 2008. She was nominated for an ARIA award in 2006 for Best Female. In 2007 she released an EP called One Of You For Me.

His hits included the singles "Nothing Can Divide Us", "Too Many Broken Hearts", "Sealed With A Kiss", "Everyday" from the 1989 debut disc "10 Good Reasons".

Three piece Metal band from Melbourne Australia. In 1999 they released their EP "Finally" in 2001. They have toured with Stone Sour, Machine Head, Mayhem and Destruction. Performed at Metal for the Brain and have appeared on JTV and Triple J's Full Metal Racket. Their debut album "The Meaning Unseen", released in 2005, was mixed by the famed and respected Fredrik Nordstrom in Sweden. Their melodic death metal style is a mix of the US and Gothenburg sounds with some clean vocals and both chugging riffs and the melodic riffs with good hooks.
