Recent Hopeless Records signees, For The Foxes have been delivering their own unique brand of pop rock ever since their inception in 2007. Embracing elements from the eighties as well as modern artists, the Jersey natives have been making waves touring the country and releasing songs prefacing the release of their Hopeless Records debut due in 2012

Scott Mathews

Scott Matthews (born 1976), is a singer/songwriter from Wolverhampton, England. His first album Passing Stranger was released on March 13, 2006. Janice Long was the first of the BBC DJs to play his music. Soon, tracks from Passing Stranger were also being played by Mark Radcliffe and Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. In April, Scott played sessions on BBC Radio 2 & BBC 6 Music. Matthews' first single "Elusive" was released in September.

Ugly Kid Joe

Ugly Kid Joe is a rock band which formed in Isla Vista, California, United States in 1989. The band's name is a parody of the band Pretty Boy Floyd. The band made a name for themselves in the early 1990s with their mix of satire and hard rock/metal sound. The band achieved two worldwide top ten hits with 1992's "Everything About You" and a 1993 cover of Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle". The band released three albums, "America's Least Wanted" (1992), "Menace to Sobriety" (1995) and "Motel California" (1996) before disbanding in 1997.

Hunz is a three-piece electronic pop band, spearheaded by Brisbane-based electronic musician and producer, Hans Van Vliet. With a background in music programming and motion design, Hans pulls his notes out of a binary soup of ones and zeroes, hand-crafting synth patches and beats from scratch. The result is a mix of pulsating, glitchy electronics and ethereal vocals that hint at the sinister, but succumb to the pleasure of pop hooks instead.

1) French Emo Band
« Draft translates urgency, the need for catharsis through music » Take it or leave it ! After putting out their first MCD « Stockholm Syndrome » (Overcome distribution) they played lots of gigs with Shai hulud, Since By Man, Nostromo, Burn Hollywood Burn, Amanda Woodward, Tang Draft are now working on their first album. Their music takes place between furious rockn roll and tense emocore influenced by eNVy, Refused, Neurosis, Botch
2) Hungarian Trance Band

EMF

EMF were an / band which formed in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England in 1989 and best known for their 1990 hit "Unbelievable". The band consisted of James Atkin (vocals, guitar), Ian Dench (guitar, keyboards), Derry Brownson (keyboard, samples), Zach Foley (bass) and Mark Decloedt (drums). The band originally disbanded in 1997 and reformed in 2001. Foley died of a drug overdose in January 2002 and the band only played four more shows that year before disbanding once more. The band re-formed for a second reunion in 2007, which ended in May of 2009.

Caution

Caution are a math rock/pop band from South Windsor, Connecticut. Initially forming in the summer of 2008, they spent a year finalizing their lineup and preparing their first batch of songs, eventually releasing their first demo to mild critical acclaim in early 2010. Their sound has been compared to bands such as Tera Melos, Gruvis Malt, and Cap'n Jazz.
