Kerfuffle are Kris Grecian(Cyprus) - Drums and Percussion, Alan Keary(Ireland) - Electric and Acoustic Bass, Liviu Gheorghe(Romania) - Piano and Keyboards and various guest instrumentalists.
A Manchester based band formed in February 2011 with the aim to challenge themselves as musicians. The three met whilst in university, doing their music studies. The compositions are mostly instrumental, grounded in the jazz-fusion style mixed with resonances of their members' different cultural backgrounds. A mixture of Western sounds with some Eastearn European and Mediterranean vibes. In live shows, audiences are attracted to the music's blend of electric and acoustic instruments combined with the energetic performances. The name comes from the definition of the word 'kerfuffle' that seemed to resamble the band's practice sessions - a lot of argument, noisy activity, or fuss. After gathering enough material, the band decided that it is time to record their debut album that is set to be realesed by the end of October 2012.
