Arctic Flame

After the release of ArcticFlames first album, “Primal Aggressor” the band knew what direction to go in for their next CD. Though the band appreciated the production finesse of producer Jack Frost, the group wanted to head into a more straight ahead metal sound. It is no secret that the band follows in the footsteps of the classic metal bands but on the following disc, they wanted a “dirtier” guitar sound. “We were looking for a more ballsey, cruncher guitar sound than the first album”, explains guitarist, Rod Mariani. “Bigger, massive, destructive...yeah, that’s what we were after!”

Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves (n., in-fek-shus groovz) are a funk metal band led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. It also featured ex-Suicidal Tendencies, now Metallica, bassist Robert Trujillo, and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor: their albums contain comedy skits by a reptilian lover named Sarsippius. The band can be seen (and heard) performing as the prom band in the 1992 Pauly Shore film Encino Man

Wino & Conny Ochs

The Legacy of Scott 'Wino' Weinrich in the world of heavy music is indisputable. In 2010, he turned to his acoustic guitar as a means to drive out some personal demons, resulting in Adrift and a tour to support it. Unusually, this would just be Wino, an acoustic guitar and a driver in a small passenger car, so the task of finding someone suitably laid back and able to live in such intimate and cramped conditions for six weeks fell to Andreas of Exile On Mainstream/Southern Germany. Andreas chose Conny Ochs, who he'd known for some time from his Baltic Coast beach parties.
