Shattered Skies

SHATTERED SKIES is a melodic groove metal band from Wicklow, Ireland. The band consists of vocalist Sean Murphy, bassist James Dunne, drummer Ross McMahon and guitarist and keyboardist Ian Rockett. The band's music is an attempt to combine heavy, groove metal riffs with powerful melodies and a lush atmosphere, influenced by anything from film scores to dance/trance music. Shattered Skies are attempting to genuinely offer something unique and interesting to the table. Groove metal with atmosphere, melody and good musicianship and songwriting.

For a period of eight years from 1992 until August 2000, Zachary Stevens was the mere infallible lead singer of power metal legends Savatage. His huge vocal range, controlled crafts and thrilling energy guaranteed splendid gigs night after night, every single show worthy of a live album. The young man from South Carolina accomplished something absolutely unique in five decades of rock history. Coming into play as a real rookie, he followed the charismatic and vocally incomparable Jon Oliva as Savatage´s lead singer without getting even a slight complaint from the longtime 'tage fans.

Downfall

There are at least ten bands named Downfall (you'd think at least one of them would change their name). (1) Californian Punk band
Downfall was a and band from the Bay Area formed by Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, Dave Mello, Pat Mello, and Jason Hammon following the break-up of Operation Ivy in 1989 and pre-dating Armstrong's and Freeman's wider recognition in Rancid. Babylon A.D.

Formed in Oakland California as the Persuaders, Derek Davis (vocals), Ron Freschi (guitar) Jamey Pacheco (drums) Danny De La Rosa (guitar) and Robb Reid (bass) were in childhood and rival bands until they eventually evolved into Babylon A.D (www.babylonad.com). Later as a band, they caught the attention of Arista Records president and industry music mogul Clive Davis who signed them at a showcase in Los Angeles thanks to their impressive three-song demo, home made video and consistent sold out performances in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The Shipman Project

Deep in the warm wet bloody bowels of the Shipman Manor, five captives lay strewn upon the floor in varying degrees of mortal agony. T'was there in that seething hive that their bond was forged. Their battered and broken carcass' were plucked from their fatal demise my the fair maiden, known to many, as Torr.
She then locked them away again, but with good in her heart. Fulfilling their every need, she nursed them back to health.

Nightrage

Nightrage is a Greek/Swedish melodic death metal band formed by guitarist Marios Iliopoulos and his close friend Gus G. who later re-located to Gothenburg, Sweden.
Tomas Lindsberg of "At The Gates" was the Vocalist of the "Nightrage" from 2003-2005.
He recorded on Nightrage’s first two full length records Sweet Vengence in 2003 and Descent Into Chaos in 2005. Tomas will also be providing guest vocals on Nightrage’s upcoming album.

Santers

Santers is a Hard Rock, AOR, Melodic Metal band formed in Toronto, Canada in the 1980's. Fronted by Guitarist/Vocalist Rick Santers, the band had a similar sound to Night Ranger or Coney Hatch. They produced their first album in 1981, and recorded several more releases.

Daysend

Having taken their wares across the vast span of North America, New Zealand and Australia Daysend have fused an array of musical genres to create a hard edged yet melodic metal sound. The explosive Sydney five piece rocketed into existence in 2003 with all the passion and determination that has propelled them to the very top of their country's heavy music scene. Later that year the band released their debut album, 'Severance' which was voted by listeners of high rating radio station Triple J as Number One Australian Metal Album of that same year.

Carach Angren

Carach Angren is a band from the Netherlands, formed by two members of Vaultage. Their style is characterised by prominent use of orchestral arrangements. All of their studio albums are concept albums with lyrics based on famous ghost stories, such as the Flying Dutchman. The name means "Iron Jaws" in the language of Sindarin, and is the name of a fortified pass into North-Western Mordor in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
