The Blackbyrds

The Blackbyrds was a and fusion group, formed in Washington, D.C. in 1973. The group was led by trumpeter Donald Byrd and featured some of his Howard University students: Kevin Toney (keyboards), Keith Killgo (vocals, drums), Joe Hall (bass guitar), Allan Barnes (saxophone, clarinet), and Barney Perry (guitar). Orville Saunders (guitar), and Jay Jones (flute, saxophone) were later members of the group. They signed to Fantasy Records in 1973. They are best known for their 1975 hit "Walking in Rhythm", which received a Grammy nomination.

Jex Thoth

Named after the band's striking female vocalist, Jex Thoth take their cues from the metallic strains of Black Sabbath and the retro experimentalism of Amon Düül II. Jex Thoth (formerly Jessica Toth) and bassist James Jackson Toth (leader of the experimental outfit Wooden Wand, and credited here as Grim Jim) form the core of the group, which originally took shape under the name Totem. After issuing an EP with that moniker, the group rechristened itself Jex Thoth and set to work on a full-length album, with guitarist Silas Paine and drummer Johnny Dee joining the lineup during the process.

beehoover

Beehoover are a German two-piece band (Ingmar, bass and vocals, Claus, drums). After trying to form a normal four piece band: bass, drums, guitar, singer, they failed to find a suitable guitarist and vocalist. From the outset, they wanted the bass to be the leading instrument and a guitar to enhance it, but it didn't work out. The first demo in 2004 featured three tracks with an additional vocalist they had finally found. After this the bassist and drummer decided not to have a separate singer.

There seem to be four artists with this name: 1. Rhino is a Spanish sludge doom band formed in Bilbao, 2004. Now called Horn of the Rhino. With big experience on their backs and with influences of the most bestial rock, the sickest doom and the heaviest metal, born in Bilbao, Rhino, a band that delivers brutal and monolithic songs with blasting guitars, thundering apocalyptic drums and aggressive vocals.

1) Burden is a finnish thrash metal metal band. It was founded in autumn 2008. Sami (bass guitar/vocals) and Henkka (rhythm guitar) phoned Matias (drums) so they could form a band. Later Henkka asked Otto (lead guitar) to join the band, and he did. After they had composed some songs of their own, they practiced hard and went to the studio.
