From Gregs Myspace: Greg began Dj-ing in 1989 at the age of 17 shortly after emigrating to Perth Western Australia from Northampton England, he had been a heavy collector of vinyl since 1982 and since he already had a collection of 1000+ he decided it was time to purchase some decks and get seriously into dj-ing. The music Greg was collecting in the 80's was mainly hip hop, electro, soul & funk and a bit of reggae/dub, when he began mixing it was strictly hip hop until late 1990 when Greg was taken to a club in Perth called Limbo's and heard a Dj 'Dave Jackson' spin some early house...

The Presets

The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.

The Penelopes

There are at least two bands using the name The Penelopes: From Japan 1) The Japanese twee-pop outfit the Penelopes was essentially the work of singer/songwriter Tatsuhiko Watanabe; the group debuted in 1992 with the album In a Big Golden Cage, followed a year later by Touch the Ground. Although by this time the band was primarily a Watanabe solo project, he maintained the Penelopes' name for 1997's Kiss of Life; A Place in the Sun, issued that same year, was the first LP issued on Watanabe's own Vaudeville Park label.

Felix da Housecat

Felix da Housecat (born Felix Stallings in chicago, Illinois) is an electro music DJ and record producer. Felix is commonly regarded as a member of the second wave of chicago house. He entered the dance music elite not only via his recordings (under a number of aliases, including Thee Maddkatt Courtship, Aphrohead and Sharkimaxx), but also for his ownership of Radikal Fear Records, one of the premiere Chicago labels of the 1990s.

Michael Head (born in Kensington, Liverpool) often called Mick Head, is an English musician,most famous as the lead singer and songwriter for The Pale Fountains, Shack and The Strands.Though neither band achieved mainstream success, they have a strong following and NME have described him as "a lost genius and among the most gifted British songwriters of his generation". By performance we mean the reciprocal acts of seeing and being seen, and by music we mean the ability to show solidarity around creative aural pleasure. Remember the campfire? Miss Kittin

Miss Kittin (real name Caroline Hervé) is an electro vocalist and DJ. She was born in Grenoble, France in 1973. At age 22 she began DJing, spinning records in France, Moscow and Chicago with Mike Dearborn. Soon after she met DJ Hell in Marseille who wanted her to record for his International DeeJay Gigolos label. She presented him with the EP Champagne that she recorded with The Hacker. Miss Kittin & The Hacker released First Album in 2001. Several tracks, such as 1982 and Frank Sinatra, became anthems of the electroclash scene.
