In 2000 O.V.N.I was formed when the members of the Alfa-Matrix break beat band, Seize, decided to swap roles and do something a little darker, this time with Steven taking the lead vocals and Sandrine and Rosie on bass and keyboards respectively. O.V.N.I started out with the name Spermwhale, but decided to change it when hunting for a label.

These are: 1) House/Breakbeat producers from Swansea in South Wales, United Kingdom. 2) A Spanish Extreme Metal band 3) A Power/Trash Metal band from Greece 4) An Indie Punk band from Frankfurt, Germany 1) Mike Truman and Chris Healings have been writing, producing, touring and DJing all over the globe for the best part of a decade and have amassed nearly 250 productions to date. The duo have written three LPs, 'Wide Angle' which was released in 1999, “Morning Scifi” released in 2003 and “I Choose Noise” in 2007 on Distinctive Records.
