The Dismemberment Plan

The Dismemberment Plan is an / band formed in Washington, D.C., United States on January 1, 1993. Also known as "The D-Plan" or "The Plan," the band's name comes from a stray phrase uttered by the insurance salesman in the popular comedy Groundhog Day. The band members include Eric Axelson (bass), Jason Caddell (guitar), Joe Easley (drums) and Travis Morrison (vocals and guitar).

Dave Rawlings Machine

David Todd Rawlings is a professional guitarist and harmony singer. He is best known as the longtime musical partner of bluegrass singer-songwriter Gillian Welch. The Dave Rawlings Machine debut album A Friend of a Friend was released in November 2009. Rawlings recorded the album in Nashville, and produced it himself. Co-writers and musicians on the album include Welch, members of Old Crow Medicine Show, Bright Eyes, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. "It's hard to believe A Friend of a Friend is David Rawlings' first album under his own name."

Amy Martin

Amy Martin was born in Iowa and lives in Missoula, Montana. She has been making her living as a musician since 2000. In that time, she has released six albums and started her own independent label, Raven’s Wing Records. She was named Missoula’s Peacemaker of the Year for 2004, and has raised $10,000 for women-run health and education projects in Afghanistan through the sales of her third album, This Fall.

Skipping Girl Vinegar

Skipping Girl Vinegar are a 4-piece acoustic indie band based in Melbourne, Australia. Their music spans country, folk, indie rock and pop and comprise of Mark Lang (vocals/guitar), Chris Helm (drums/backing vocals), Sare Lang (bass/backing vocals) and Amanthi Lynch (keyboards). Beginning in 2006 with an extensive original repertoire established before playing live, they soon garnered several support slots including Bob Evans, The Lemonheads, The Shout Out Louds and Something For Kate, which, along with relentless gigging, saw their first single, 'One Chance' gain national airplay in mid-2007.

Shearwater

Shearwater was formed by two bandmembers of Austin, TX's Okkervil River. Okkervil's singer and guitarist, Will Sheff, and back-up vocalist and accordion/keyboard player, Jonathan Meiburg formed Shearwater so they could write softer, more folk-influenced music. Band members today include Jonathan Meiburg, Thor Harris, Kim Burke, Jordan Geiger, and Kevin Schneider. To date, Shearwater has released five full-length albums, 'The Dissolving Room', 'Everybody Makes Mistakes', 'Winged Life'...
