Swords is an American indie rock band that formed in 1999 in Portland, Oregon. The band took their name from the idea of being "hired assassins of rock". The current lineup has been together since Spring of 2000. The name of the band was shortened to Swords from The Swords Project in 2003. In May of 2006, the band announced they would be breaking up, but would most likely continue working together in various other music projects.
Neurosis is an experimental metal band, based in Oakland, CA. Their unique sound draws from influences ranging from hardcore punk and doom metal to dark ambient, progressive rock and industrial music as well as incorporating elements of post-punk and folk music. The band is highly regarded as the primary pioneer of its genre, sometimes referred to as either atmospheric sludge or post-metal. Critic Brian Russ has described them as "atmospheric hardcore".
Ides of Gemini are Black Math Horseman's Sera Timms (vocals/bass), veteran music and film journalist J. Bennett (guitar/backing vocals) and Kelly Johnston (drums/backing vocals). In 2010, Timms and Bennett recorded and self-released a four-song EP, The Disruption Writ. Later Johnston joined the band, and in 2012 they released their full-length debut, Constantinople.

With the baton of core song-writing being handed from drummer Damian Coward to guitarist, Brent Stegeman, Heirs turned their attention toward their electronic underbelly, honing in on the industrial vapour and blackened ambience that permeated their debut, Alchera, distilling the underlying sense of melody with an arresting sense of dread.
Adrift is a band from Madrid that plays intense, heavy music with a variety of influences, ranging from the experimental darkness of bands like Neurosis, Isis, and Sunn O)), to the more straight-ahead riffage of Kyuss and Tool. Founded in 1999, they have 5 releases:

While the band is instrumental, they choose not to label themselves as such- the sound is ever-evolving, and they’d prefer to put out music that is organic, natural, passionate- rather than stick to a particular genre. The band likes to combine a wide range of influences to produce a sound that sways from epic, ethereal soundscapes to heavy post-rock riffs, rounded out with good old fashioned sludgy heaviness.
